The inaugural Lions Trail Run in Franschhoek was supposed to take place late in 2019 and was postponed due to the weather and then the following year due to Covid.
The event will now take place on the 21st of August 2021 at the spectacular Glenwood Wine Estate.
The Lions Club International meet the needs of communities worldwide. The 1.35 million members of our volunteer organization in 206 countries and geographic areas are different in many ways, but share a core belief – community is what we make it.
As part of there annual fundraising efforts the Lions Club Franshhoek will host their 1st Trail Run at Glenwood. They have acquired the services of Onsite Events who are well known for their Run The Vines Trail Run Series to assist with the management of the event.

10km - R120 - Start - 9:00am
5km - R100 - Start - 9:15am
All Covid regulations will be in place.
