Start Batches
Your official race briefing will be received via email. (It's the kind of email you should actually read, by the way.) There will be an open time window from 7h00 to 9h00 - you pitch up, register and get your timing watch and number board, and then set off any time you like within the start time window. Last rider leaves at 9h00, and after that the course is closed and no further starters will be allowed.
Anyone that is late gets an "ID-TEN-T" tattoo on their forehead (optional) and no refund (not optional).

The Route
Nipper, Sprogs and Lite riders will ride stages 1 and 3.
Liaison 1: a nice little warm up... +350m
Stage 1: Red Phoenix/Bennet's Red, top to bottom: 2.58km, -318m
Liaison 2: This is where you start hating us a little! +318m climb.
Stage 2. The Plumber: The top two sections, including all large features. 1.17km, -246m
Liaison 3: This is where you start hating us a little more! +311m climbing
Stage 3. Armageddon/Canaries: top-to bottom including re-vamped upper section and Zululand lower. It's easier, but it's longer... hello arm pump! 4km, -453m
There will be a Cadence Nutrition water point at the bottom of Canaries, for you to wash away your tears.
Liaison 4: There is no hate. There is only being one with the bike. And a donderse climb. +436m
Stage 4. Iron Monkey: top to bottom. 3.34km, -479m

Parking
Parking at Jonkershoek is tighter than a DH casing at 50PSI. Make no mistake - there will not be enough. DO make a plan to car-share with your mates. And if there is no space when you get there, DO NOT park illegally on Jonkershoek Road. Find parking in town and treat the pedal in to Jonkers like a nice little warm up! The authorities know that our event is happening, and there is every chance that they will specifically come to check on the parking situation - if you return to a parking ticket or a towed-away vehicle, don't come crying. Furthermore, if the authorities refuse future EWC events at Jonkers because of vehicle parking stuff-ups, then that will be extremely very totally not cool.

Prize Giving
As usual, we will aim for prize giving at 14h00 but suspect it may be closer to 15h00. Prize giving on the day will be for the day's race results, which is relevant for everyone. Announcements of WC Series, SA Champs and WC Champs will be later once our resident mathematatical geniuses have done all the necessary stuffs.
