Event Information

All ages are welcome on this inaugural event. The kinds can ride solo, or in teams that will consist of: a child and parent or two children over the age of 15 and each participant will be required to formally enter and pay for the event which will be held at Rietvlei Zoo Farm from 7-8 September 2019. Our mission is to expose children to the fun and excitement of a mountain bike stage race, whilst enjoying the trails that Rietvlei Zoo Farm has to offer.

The Stage Race and Event #5 will run at the same venue on the same weekend 

When: 7-8 September 2019, Saturday-Sunday.
Premises will open at 12h00, first distance will start at 14h30 SHARP

Late Entries & Number Collection: Number Collection will take place at the venue from 12h00 until 5 minutes before the race starts (No on the day entries allowed).

If you haven't purchased a new timing board at the previous events, you will need to do so for this event at R50 a board. It's a once off cost, and is your very own number board with timing chip affixed to the back. This you will keep and bring to the next Like2Bike event. All participants will need to purchase a board, and everyone will receive a time and result at the end of each event. Do not loose it, otherwise you will need to purchase another one!

Entry Cost:

R550 for all 3 distances (excludes camping and meals)

Meals and camping can be booked at R300 extra

• 3 x Meals and a S'more Station: Saturday Dinner: Beef Lasagne, Salad & Roll OR Chicken Lasagne, Salad & Roll OR Butternut cannelloni, Salad & Roll plus a Soft drink

• Saturday night: S'mores Station

• Sunday Breakfast: Egg and Bacon Roll OR Scrambled egg & mushroom Roll plus a Glass of Juice / cup of filter coffee

• Sunday Lunch: Beef Prego OR Chicken Prego OR Halloumi Burger plus a Soft drink

• Camping 1 night (Bring your own tents and bedding)

Whilst this is a fun series, we aim to entrench good riding etiquette while fostering a love for the sport. Skills courses are also offered whereby we teach valuable riding skills in small focused groups.
