TIP TRANS Trail Run
Last year we hosted the 1st Trail Run in conjunction with the well known Fine Breede MTB at the Breederiver Primary School. This year our 2nd trail run will be even bigger and better.
We have squired the services of Lans Pepler from Onsite Events who own his own Trail Run Series called Run The Vines to assist us. Lans has been involved in our MTB for the past 3 years. Last year Onsite Event managed the sound, registration and timing at the MTB. He was also the MC for the past 3 years.
Registration will take place at the Breerivier Primary School.
From here runners will get onto a truck and be taken to Mount Baine, where the race will officially start. The race will end at Breerivier Primary School. Starting Times: 07:00- Truck leaves from Breerivier Primary School 07:15 - Race Briefing 07:30- 18km race starts 07:45- 12km race starts Both the races boast with long single tracks, taking runners through river beds, over hills and through beautiful fynbos. Bakkrans is the highest point on the route with an elevation on 396m. Total climbs on the 18km is over 700m, but with plenty down hills in between this race offers good variety of terrain and muscle work out. Please watch out for snakes, do not litter and do not damage any of the fruit/grape orchards.
