OVERVIEW & FACTS
The Houw Hoek Tour gives you the opportunity to cycle some of the W2W RACE routes. The Tour also aims to let you explore and experience what a multi-stage event is all about and offers a relaxed and supportive atmosphere as no timing is done.
Start times Between 07h30 and 8h15 on both days
Registration 14h00 – 19h00 on 30 April & 07h00 – 08h00 on 1 May at the Houw Hoek Hotel (for the Autumn May event)
Registration 14h00 – 19h00 on 3 September & 07h00 – 08h00 on 4 September at the Houw Hoek Hotel (for the Spring September event)
ROUTE INFORMATION
To ensure maximum and effective Covid 19 protocol compliance, the start and finish of both stages (a Wildekrans loop on Saturday and Paul Cluver loop on Sunday) will be at the Houw Hoek Hotel. To ensure effective social distancing there will not be a formal mass start. Riders can start between 7h30 and 8h15 from either the lawn at the back of the Hotel or from the tar road in front of the Hotel. If you feel uncomfortable to start on your own, guides will start every 15 min from the lawn at the back of the hotel.
