Living up to the THIRSTI AFRICANX TRAILRUN reputation, the 2-Day XPLORE KZN is the perfect prelude to what to expect from the flagship 3-Day event, boasting magnificent trails, spectacular views, mouth-watering food, a relaxed atmosphere and a great vibe.

Taking the format of a 2 day individual stage race with manageable distances of 20km and 15km on Day 1 and 2 respectively, the routes are perfectly suitable to all levels of runners wishing to complete their first stage race!  Runners can look forward to exploring the most spectacular terrain and never before seen trails of the Dargle area, nestled deep in the scenic Natal Midlands (only 90min from Durban). Expect varied terrain through grasslands, indigenous forests and pine forests; leaving you hungry for more trails, adventure and fun times with the AFRICANX family! 

When not running, runners can look forward to relaxing in the race village chill zone, swimming in the river, exchanging running tales and soaking up the stunning lush green surroundings of the Dargle area! Of course you will be treated to delicious meals and can expect some awesome surprises to make the weekend even more special! 

The inaugural event in 2022 will be kept to a small, intimate and unique group of runners who wish to come and experience this piece of paradise! With only 50 entries available, there is no time to waste in getting those entries in!
