CAMPS BAY PRIMARY SCHOOL VIRTUAL RUN/WALK

Join Camps Bay Primary and Prep School in this fun-filled Virtual Run/Walk, taking place over Heritage Day weekend, 

24 – 26 September 2021.

The Camps Bay Primary School Virtual Run/Walk will see families and friends unite (virtually) in a spirit of positivity, community, and celebration. We are looking forward to giving families and friends of CBPS something to look forward to, something exciting and fun, something that will have a positive injection into our CBPS community!

Participants can run or walk from anywhere in the country, whether it is on the promenade, on the beach, in the gym, in your garden, on the trails, or on the road.

The Camps Bay Primary School Virtual Run/Walk fundraising initiative will provide much needed support and funding for the CBPS Sports Department.

Distances:                          3km / 5km / 8km

Entries Open:                    Thursday 19 August 2021

Entries Close:                    Tuesday 21 September 2021

Start & End Time:             Run/Walk anytime on Friday, Saturday or Sunday

Route:                                 Anywhere! You choose the the route.

Timing:                               Runners/Walkers are to record their run/walk using a   smartphone (Android or iPhone device) or    smart watch (Garmin, TomTom, Suunto, Fitbit, Polar etc.) or Strava.

Result Upload:                  Runners/walkers will manually upload their finish time to a dedicated CBPS Virtual Run/Walk            webpage. Results will be displayed in a leaderboard per distance.   

ENTRY FEE

Entry Fee includes:

• Automatic entry into the lucky draw to WIN amazing prizes
• Online entry admin fees
• Race Number
• Access to the official CBPS Virtual Run/Walk Results page where runners/walkers will have an opportunity to upload their finish time and have their efforts listed on the official event leaderboard per distance 
• Personalised Finishers Certificate post event (available for download from the results platform)
