WOD Wagers
An Online Event you can do in the comfort of your own Box or Gym. Our focus is to help Athletes earn money doing what they love. Currently we can only pay our top 3 Athletes in EACH category, but our 2 year goal is to eventually have the ability to pay our top 20 Athletes.
How it works - we have worked out the best possible percentages for entries around R150, this is why our price will never change (Unless you are in the Old But Gold 58+ category, you only pay R80). We found that the R150 would give the best possibilities for us to still survive (Pay Salaries and all that Jazz) while giving back to our Athletes with AWESOME PRIZE MONEY!
So the more people enter the more you can earn if you place TOP 3. If we get just 500 entries in a category we can pay that category the following: 1st earning R12000, 2nd R8000, 3rd, R5000 - not bad for a maximum WOD of 15min. So share, invite, call out those friends and get those Box workout partners to join! Help us grow and get us to that 2 Year goal even quicker. Our Elite will be anyone from the age of 20 to 35, if you fall in this Age Group you are automatically Elite. We do this so we don't have people taking chances in Age Group when they should be Elite. If you are OLDER but feel you are Elite - feel free to enter Our Elite.

Our Teams Will only fall in the Elite Category for this #BiogenWOD1 our Future Events will have Beginners, Intermediates.
With your help and suggestions we will look to improve the event as we carry on into the future.
WOD Wager #BiogenWOD1 is as follows:
AMRAP 10min
Add 1 Rep each new round. Example Round 1, is 1 Rep of Thrusters, Burpees, Deadlift. Round 2, is 2 Reps of Thrusters, Burpees, Deadlift... and so on.
Solo and Teams of 3 (2 Male, 1 Female) Our Teams will Share Reps. 1 Person works While 2 Rest. There will be 2 sets of DBs and BBs for Male and Female. Teams can swap out how they wish. Example: Member 1 does a Thruster, Member 2 then does a Burpee, Member 3 Then does a deadlift. Males Have to do Male Weight same applies for the Female - THERE ARE NO ADDITIONAL POINTS FOR A FEMALE DOING MALE WEIGHTS.

Movement Standards Videos will be released on our IG Page @thepyramidxevent the week before #BiogenWOD1
Thruster: Clear break of 90 degrees on the squat, Full Lock of elbows above the head.
Burpees: Clear Chest to floor, Clear space between floor and feet on the jump, Hands MUST pass the ears with full extension of hips to an upright position during the jump.
Deadlift: Clear extension of hips to an upright position on the lift, clear touch of both sides of the weights on the BB. Bouncing of weight will be a NO REP
You will need a Judge for your WOD
You will need Wodproof App, this will be used by your Judge. However the Judge must be familiar with the App to COUNT REPS on the App. So go through the tutorials and have a look at what to do - if we get videos where instructions are not followed you will be DQ and not eligible for prize money - NO REFUNDS.
YouTube Account for video submission. You will send us your link to in[email protected] and our Judges will then review your video.
If you earn a pay out position we will contact you for your banking details. Pay outs will happen within 14 days of the WOD.
