WP0 - 37km (+355m, -320m)

This is an ‘unofficial’ POPUP Coke and Water Point, to give you a ‘boost’ as you tackle the climb to Draai Hoek Farm.

WP1 - 66km (29 km +410m, -316m)

At Draai Hoek Farm Jan and Carla will spoil you with Koffie en Beskuit and some much needed energy supplement to get you over the hill.

WP2/CP1 – 112km (46km +532m, -624m)

The descending starts !! Your average speed will definitely increase as you head ‘down’ to Eagles Pub, Vrede (corner of Main and Boshoff St) where either your Support Crew or your Drop Box will meet you. Make sure your bike light is charged and connected. The shadows start getting longer if you slow down too much. Recharge your stomach linings then you can be on your way.

WP3 - 152km (40km +240m, -309m) 

This Water Point is a few kms from the Free State / Mpumalanga border ( Vaal River ) as you continue to improve on your average speed. Delicious snacks, coke and water will be provided. No passport necessary - only more bum cream ;-)

WP4/CP2 – 203km (51km +280m, -306m)

Rolling hills and train tracks will lead you to the Val Hotel where either your Support Crew or your Drop box will meet you. Rita ( she owns ‘The Town’ ) will spoil you with a delicious meal.

Don’t linger, the sun has set, dress up for the night ride and switch on your lights ? 100miles to go.

WP5 – 239km (36km +277m, -238m) 

This WP will probably be the first during your Night Ride. The stars will be out - so have a quick Carbo Load and keep peddling !!

WP6 – 270km (31km +223m, -247m)

At the GrasDak Restaurant, Devon -  Jana and Theo will provide a light meal to take you through the midnight hour. You definitely will need to stop here and refuel - 100kms to go ;-) 

WP7 – 312km (42km +175m, -261m)

Navigate next to Railway Lines and Coal Mines to RedStar Raceway. This will be the ideal break you need to get some Coke and Coffee (laced with Caffeine), and some important snacks. Stay focused, Keep pedalling - almost home !!

LEGENDS-MX- FINISH VILLAGE 365km (53km +299m, -410m)

• Some more descending to LEGENDS-MX Family Fun Park.

• Eat, Drink and be Merry. 

• A HUGE Buffet Breakfast and your Support Crew await you ;-)
