Maxi Race Cape Winelands
We want to get you into the Maxi Race spirit nice and early in 2022, with a three race series in the Banhoek Valley!
Wednesday 23 February: Maxi Autumn Nights #1
Wednesday 23 March: Maxi Autumn Nights #2
Wednesday 20 April: Maxi Autumn Nights #3
Race #1 will start and finish at the entrance gate to Old Bethlehem Farm in Kylemore, after which runners can drive the 1km up the road to Banhoek Chilli Oil for the after party.
We believe in celebrating running and the privilege of being outside and what better place than the hidden gem of a valley beneath the Helshoogte and Simonsberg Mountains.
Choose from a 5km or 10km route that should do just enough to build up a sweat and warm up your spirit.

If you Enter and complete the first two we will give you a 15% discount for race #3! Send us a mail to [email protected] with your proof of entry and we will send you a discount coupon.
The first of three runs in the Autumn Night Series will be the easiest, so if you are a new runner come and build some confidence or come and break your PB as a seasoned trail runner.
Come and Experience the best time of year to be outside and see the best of the Banhoek Valley as the sun starts to set. When you cross the finish line you can look forward to cold beer and the best pizza in the valley on the deck and lawns of Banhoek Chilli Oil's restaurant!
The First Beer is on us and included in your Entry!
There will be various category prizes for each distance as well as lucky draw prizes for all in attendance at the BCO restaurant! You might just walk away with a free entry to the 2022 Kway Maxi Race presented by Banhoek Chilli Oil.
A Grand Prize will also be awarded to the winner of the 3-race series (Best Male and Female performer over all three events, based on a points system for finish positions).

| Route information | FROM STELLENBOSCH Exit Stellenbosch on the Helshoogte road (R310), heading for Franschhoek / Paarl. Drive over the Helshoogte pass and as you reach the bottom of the pass, keep your eyes open for Banhoek Chilli Oil Co on the right, on the corner of the Kylemore turnoff. (The first run starts at the gate of Old Bethlehem Farm - you can park there and drive to Banhoek Chilli Oil after the run) FROM N1 (CT / PAARL) Take the R45 (R101) turnoff on the N1 and turn right to drive underneath the N1. Turn left onto the R45 in the direction of Franschhoek. You will drive through the Simondium area until you reach a turnoff on the right R310 towards Pniel / Stellenbosch. Drive through Pniel in direction of Stellenbosch until you reach the turnoff left into Kylemore. Banhoek Chilli Oil is on the corner as your turn off.
