The SSMTBL “Spur Schools Mountain Bike League” provided the opportunity for schools from all provinces to take part in an official league. With the departure of Spur as the main sponsor of the league, as well as the many effected by the global pandemic known as Covid- 19, no events have been forthcoming during 2021. 

Gauteng North School Cycling (GNSC) is willing to establish a school series within the province, offering some sort of platform of competition amongst schools for riders of both primary and high schools.

The GAUTENG NORTH SCHOOL SERIES (GNSS) will host 4 x events for primary schools and 4 x events for high school on individual dates from April to October 2022.

Entry Fee: 

• Once off registration fee for the whole series : R100
• Entry fee for the whole distances R150.

Late Entries & Number Collection: Late/Line Entries & Number Collection will take place on Saturday morning at the venue between 7:00 and 8:15. (Cash & SnapScan Only). R30 Surcharge on Late Entries Cash, Snapscan & Credit cards accepted for late entries.

• Sub -Nipper: Riders aged 7 and 8 years old.
• Nippers: Riders aged 9 and 10 years old.
• Sprogs: Riders aged 11 and 12 years old.
• Sub-Junior: Riders 13 and 14 years old.
• Youth: Riders aged 15 and 16 years old.
• Junior: Riders aged 17,18 &19 years old.
