The race will take place at Windhoek Draught Park in Kimberley and have a 5Km, 10Km, 21Km and 42Km option.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. The race is run in accordance with the rules of WA (IAAF)-, ASA- AND AGW. Registered athletes must be members of clubs affiliated to ASA, wear official club colors and wear the 2022 license numbers in front of the vest. Numbers may not be altered.

2. Race numbers for the 42.2km, 21.1km and 10km must be worn in front of the vest. Runners found on route without official numbers will be removed from the route. Do not cover the license number sponsor’s logo.

3. Non registered athletes running the 21.1km and 42.2km race must purchase temporary licenses, wear plain clothing and pin the license number only on the back of the vest.

4. Age Category Prize Eligibility: age tags must be clearly visible on the front and the back of the outer garment , above license number, for the duration of the race

5. The race committee reserves the right to accept or reject any entry.

6. Proof of age must be produced on request (birth certificate or ID document).

7. NO SECONDING will be permitted on any part of the race route. No vehicle or bicycle will be allowed to follow runners on the route. Any runner who is seconded or followed by any vehicle is liable for disqualification.

9. Failure to obey rules, referees, traffic marshals or any race officials could result in disqualification. Distance marks will be marked on the road at each kilometer.

10. All athletes compete at their own risk. Athletes indemnify National, Provincial and Regional bodies, sponsors and organizers of the race, against all or any actions whatsoever in nature, which may arise due to participation in any event.
