Subaru Mountain bike event hosted at Sun City
The Subaru Mountain Bike event replaces the Cycle 4 Cansa Mountain Bike event previously hosted at Sun City. The Cycle 4 Cansa Road event was unfortunately cancelled due to unsafe road conditions and dangerous speed humps
The Mountain Bike event will be part of the “Light for a Child” initiative. We would like to invite you to join us in caring for vulnerable children in our communities. The weekend consists of a Cross Duathlon (Run Bike Run) on the Saturday and a Mountain Bike event on the Sunday. This promises a fun weekend of Trail Running and Mountain Bike Cycling. A new facelift was necessary, and we made some exciting changes.
- Start and finish will be at the Shebeen in Sun City.
- New 11 km Mountain Bike route was added for the kiddies. This event will start later to give the parents and grandparents time to finish their event and have a fun ride through the Letaseng Game Reserve with their kids. Parents and Grandparents riding with their children will not be required to pay for the second race. They can enjoy this one on us for free! Your Race number will grant you entry to cycle with your kids.
- The 25km will be the old familiar favourite route only the direction will change, and it will start at the new venue.
- The good news about the 50km is that it will NOT be a 2 times 25km repeater! Some interesting tracks will be added to the old route and the direction will also change. And of course, it will start and finish at our more family friendly venue.
- Lots to eat and drink at the Shebeen.
- Lots of entertainment available Quad bike rides, game drives and archery.
- When you arrive in Car Park at Sun City, you can walk, cycle or wait to be transported to the Shebeen.

Cyclists must receive their prize money in person at the ceremony, otherwise the prize money will be forfeited.

Please adhere to all rules and regulations
No swimming without proper Bathing suits
Only food and beverages sold at the Valley of waves are permitted.
