Presented by MaxiRace Cape Winelands and hosted by Stellenbosch High School, we are very excited to present the very first MaxiRace Interschools Trail Championships.

The race will be taking place at the Maxi Vagabond Race Village at Stellenbosch High School on 2 October 2022 as part of the annual MaxiRace Cape Winelands event.

Run over 7km, there are five different categories to choose from over two age groups.

Senior (u19) and Junior (u15) Race Categories:

• Girls' Team of 4
• Boys'Team of 4
• Mixed Team of 4 (2 Boys, 2 Girls)
• Solo Girls
• Solo Boys

• Race Village: Stellenbosch High School, Jannasch Street, Stellenbosch
• Distance: 7km
• Start Time: 8:30
• Registration: 7:00 - 8:00
• Entry Fee: R500 per team of 4 | R125 per solo athlete
• Entries Close: Friday 23 September @midnight

Further Details:

• Entry fees include a medal and post race refreshment drink per runner
• Podium Finishers will receive special medals
• Schools may only enter a maximum of 40 athletes total per school
• The route is off-road and falls on the MaxiRace 7km route
• All medical and safety measure from the main event will be in place for the schools' event
