FOREIGN ATHLETES
All foreign athletes must comply with WA (World Athletics) rule 142 and 4.2. Foreign athletes must be able to produce a letter from their respective federation permitting them to participate on race day.
RACE MEDALS
to all Race Finishers.
21.1km UNIWISP URBAN CHALLENGE HALF - MARATHON.
Athletes for the 21.1km URBAN CHALLENGE RACE must be 16 years or older on the day of the race. Proof of age (ID) to be produced upon request on day of race.
Athletes Start from Nelspruit Rugby Club at 06h00.
The 21km Half-Marathon will be timed using:
Gun Start for any position and prize money.
Finish is at Nelspruit Rugby Club. Cut-off is 10:30.
All athletes will participate at their own risk.
10km UNIWISP URBAN CHALLENGE RACE.
Athletes for the 10km URBAN CHALLENGE RACE must be 14 years or older on the day of the race. Proof of age (ID) to be produced upon request on day of race.
Athletes Start from Nelspruit Rugby Club at 06h15.
The 10km URBAN CHALLENGE RACE will be timed using :
Gun Start for any position and prize money.
Finish is at Nelspruit Rugby Club. Cut-off is 10:30.
All athletes will participate at their own risk.
UNIWISP URBAN CHALLENGE FUN - RUN.
Athletes for the FUN-RUN must be 9 years or older on the day of the race. Proof of age (ID) to be produced upon request on day of race.
Athletes Start from Nelspruit Rugby Club at 06h30.
The FUN-RUN URBAN CHALLENGE RACE will be Gun Start, but The FUN-RUN will be NOT timed.
Finish is at Nelspruit Rugby Club. Cut-off is 10:30.
All athletes will participate at their own risk.

Race T-Shirts are ONLY available for sale ! R150.00 each.
Please purchase your shirt and register your size as per the sizing table below.
Note that T-shirt sales are only available till 9th February 2023.
PRIZE GIVING EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE FINISH VENUE AT 09h30.
Prize money will be verified by Race Referees via the Protime electronic timing system, based on Gun to Mat time.
Prize money will be deposited into category winners bank accounts.

LIVE RACES.
The races will be run according to the rules of AMPU, ASA and WA (IAAF). No seconding will be allowed.
Athletes, entering for this event, and who use medication to treat an illness or condition which falls under the Prohibited List, should complete a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) form before entering for the event and obtain authorization from SAIDS to take the needed medicine or method.
Registered athletes must wear full club colours. You do not need to be a member of a registered club, any individual can enter and run as an unlicensed athlete.You will however need to purchase a temporary license. Temporary numbers must be worn on the back of the vest,AND must be fixed on the vest (all 4 corners).
Licensed athletes license-numbers must be worn on the front and back of the vest. Official Race numbers must be worn on the front of the vest, below the top part of ASA.
Age category ID tags must be worn (Front & Back) by athletes competing for a category prize AND must be fixed on the vest (all 4 corners).
Walkers must have a fixed "W" on the vest (Front & Back) AND must be fixed on the vest (all 4 corners) to qualify for any prizes.
Entry Includes : Medal, Electronic Tag on Race Bib.
Ongoing Pandemic Cancellation.
If the race is cancelled due to an ongoing Pandemic, there will be NO refunds, but the race will be converted to a Virtual race.
A No-refund policy will apply.
In the event of another COVID-19 lockdown, the race will automatically downgrade to a Virtual Race. T-Shirts, Medals, and race Numbers will still be delivered to each athlete's Club as per entry details.
