Explore the pristine trails of Bethlehem Farm in the Banhoek Valley during sundown.
Choose between a 12km or 6km route and get your headlamp ready, because we're back in 2023 with a new and improved Autumn Nights...and excited to welcome LEDLENSER onboard as our new naming rights sponsor!
You might catch an Eland, Gemsbuck or even a 'Rooikat' in your headlight as you traverse up and down the beautiful farm trails on Bethlehem Farm.

WEDNESDAY 1 MARCH
Banhoek Chilli Oil, Kylemore
12km | R250 (Entry Fee Includes permit fee & your First Craft Beer or Soft Drink) - Starts @ 18:00: The 12km route starts at Banhoek Chilli Oil and runs towards Bethlehem Farm, where you will chase your feet on the trails of this beautiful running paradise. We've made this distance ever so slightly easier than previous years to encourage you to enter! Looping around on the middle traverse (with some surprising twists and turns in between) while you gawk at the beauty of the Helshoogte mountains and Simonsberg as they start closing their eyes and showing their twilight colour, you'll return to Banhoek Chilli Oil and the finish line thirsty and hungry for some good socialising.
6km | R180 (Entry Fee Includes permit fee & your First Craft Beer or Soft Drink) - Starts @ 18:30: The 6km also starts at BCO and runs towards Bethlehem, staying on the lower trails, allowing entry level runners to make it back to the finish before it's really dark! You will still experience the mountains around you in all their glory, especially as the sunset starts painting them pink before they settle in for the night. You will also finish to ice cold beer and pizza back at BCO.

ALL RUNNERS MUST WEAR A HEADLAMP (No Headlamp No Run!)
NO WATER TABLE ON ROUTE, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE(S) AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE FULL
SLOW RUNNERS WILL BE DIVERTED ON A SHORT COURSE AT EVENT ORGANISER'S DISCRETION

| Route information | FROM STELLENBOSCH Exit Stellenbosch on the Helshoogte road (R310), heading for Franschhoek / Paarl. Drive over the Helshoogte pass and as you reach the bottom of the pass, keep your eyes open for Banhoek Chilli Oil Co on the right, on the corner of the Kylemore turnoff. (The first run starts at the gate of Old Bethlehem Farm - you can park there and drive to Banhoek Chilli Oil after the run) FROM N1 (CT / PAARL) Take the R45 (R101) turnoff on the N1 and turn right to drive underneath the N1. Turn left onto the R45 in the direction of Franschhoek. You will drive through the Simondium area until you reach a turnoff on the right R310 towards Pniel / Stellenbosch. Drive through Pniel in direction of Stellenbosch until you reach the turnoff left into Kylemore. Banhoek Chilli Oil is on the corner as your turn off.
