Dragonfly Tri
Come join us for the famous Dragonfly Hike & Camp Explorer on Friday 17 March and Saturday 18 March.
The Explorer includes:
- Sunset Hike on Friday after work
- Overnight camping
- Optional trail run or mtb ride after breakfast on Saturday
There are 3 options available:
- Adventure only, no meals. (Meals purchased at restaurant for own account. No outside food and drinks allowed)
- Adventure and standard meals option (see menu below)
- Adventure and VIP Chef's choice meals option
Entries close Wednesday 15 March @ 12 Noon. No late entries.
Option 1: Adventure Only
Sunset Hike
The guided sunset hike is a 3km hike to the viewing deck on the Capaia hill with spectacular views of the West Coast. The hike includes a bit of climbing (for the best view) so bring comfortable shoes, trail snacks and a water bottle.
There will be a complimentary glass of wine at the deck.
Registration:
- from 17:00 (at Capaia)
Hike start time:
- strictly 18:00
- no latecomers will be allowed to hike alone
Important:
Overnight Camping
Bring your own tent. There will be no electricity points other than the option to charge phones at the restaurant.
Arrival from 16:00
- Only in designated camping area. (First come first serve)
- Bring your own tent
- No electricity (however plug points at the deli to charge phones)
- Shower facilities available
- No outside food and drinks allowed
- No open fires or gas stoves
It is fire season so no open fires and gas stoves allowed. Purchase your food and drinks at the restaurant.
Option 2: Adventure and standard meals option
The adventure stays the same as above.
Meals included:
Friday night dinner: Basic a la carte menu (see below)
Saturday morning breakfast: Toasted sandwich
Option 3: Adventure and VIP meals option
The adventure stays the same as above.
Meals included:
Friday night dinner: Chef's choice set menu (see below)
Saturday morning breakfast: Gourmet breakfast ciabatta with egg and bacon

Drinks available till 10 pm at the Mariella's restaurant for your own account
Wine tasting at R50 pp which includes a free glass to take home.
