The Decathlon Social Hike Series aims to bring the hiking community (family, friends, novices and pro's) of Johannesburg together, to share their passion for hiking. Under the guidance of Tanya Pembroke, we will explore and hike scenic venues in and around Gauteng. These venues are true hidden gems and offer a family friendly and safe opportunity to start hiking or to further hone your skills. With various distances to choose from, the hikes cater for each and all. All participants will receive a goodie bag and the the first 20 entries will receive a Decathlon gift.
We also encourage participants to support our charity, Animals and Children in Need. Please bring donations to the event!
Bring water, snacks and good hiking shoes / boots. Sunscreen and a hat is essential!
