Entry fee: R3,450
Entry includes:
- Podium/Finisher medal
- Well-stocked refreshment and water points
- Bike wash daily
- Lunch with a beer/cooldrink daily
- Goody bag
In total, over three days, the riders will complete ±180km with ±5500m of elevation gain.
The trail comprises predominantly of fire roads, jeep-track and some single track. This event is not suitable for gravel bikes.
1 Day Event
Not all friends are equal. There are those who join you for a drink. There are some that might join you for a casual ride on a dust road. The best friends are those who grind along you through the ups and downs of a challenging but picturesque 40km adventure. If you don’t have friends like that, come make some new ones!

In an attempt to involve family, friends and more casual riders, we’ve thought it well to, concurrent with the three-day stage race, allow riders to enter the last day of the 3-day stage race, Sunday, as a one-day race. It is The Ghost on Robber’s Pass Adventure. It will be treated as a separate race, even though the riders will start together in their respective categories and ride the same route as the 3-day riders.
Start and finish in Pilgrim’s Rest (down-town). It’ll be ±42km with ±1200m of elevation on a combination of dirt road and jeep track. This event is not suitable for gravel bikes.
Entry fee: R550
Entry includes:

General Information
Cycling SA sanctioned event
- Cash prize to each category winner of the 3-day mountain bike stage race, male and female.
- Grand cash prize and trophy to overall winner of the 3-day mountain bike stage race, male and female (excluding e-Bike categories)
- Event will be well and professionally timed and you will receive Vitality/Multiply points
- There will be experienced medical personnel standing by at the venue and on the trail
- There will be a lead vehicle and a sweeper vehicle daily
- No dangerous crossings
- Well-marked routes with marshals
- Chill tent for spectators
- Physio for pre/post-race treatment (not included in entry)
- Restaurant and entertainment as per venue
