The Irene 10 km Open Race Walking Grand Prix will take place at the Irene Oval Race Walking Track. This venue is within the Irene Security Village and can be accessed from the M1, exit 130 onto M18 (main Rd) or the R 21 at the Nelmapius off-ramp and enter at the village access gates.

Irene Oval within the Irene Security Vil, Centurion
| Route information | Take the N1 north from Midrand and get off at the Botha off-ramp. Drive south in the M18, turn west into M36 and then left into King Street. Continue to Stanley road and turn left. The Irene Oval is right in front of you. Park anywhere around the Oval, preferably on the inside. The same Botha of-ramp may be reached from the northern and eastern side of Pretoria via the N1 south. The M31 can also be used from the Pierre van Reineveld area, drive over the M18, continue in Nelmapius, till you reach King street, turn north into King street and follow the road till it turns west, continue till Queen street, turn north into Queen, continue north till you reach Stanley, turn east into Stanley and drive until you reach the Oval again. |
