Legend Funduro @ Napier Wine & Patat Festival

We are excited to announce, that by popular demand, LEGEND EVENTS has teamed up with the annual Napier Wine & Patat Festival, and will be hosting another amazing event.
Scenic routes in and around Napier, with some exclusive routes which are normally inaccessible to general public.
FUNDURO:
ROUTE INFO - All riders ride from Napier Cricket fields towards protea farm direction Elm, 11km from Napier through mountain jeep and single tracks. That’s the same farm we stopped at last year and the route from Napier and back will be the same route we rode back last year from farm to Napier.
The reason why we do it this way is also for traffic control over main road and that when we go back no one rides in the direction we came in and you can ride on your own pace from start to finish.
On the farm the family has built the most amazing tracks for you to enjoy.
On the farm you can do 2 to 3 loops of 25km, all new routes. Marshall will communicate on route when you must ride back to Festival area at check point in the Mountains.
At 12h30 we all ride same route back from farm to Festival area in Napier.
Experienced local riders will lead the way and we ride new route to protea farm. Ferdinand will lead the way with the kids and the dads can assist.
We have a bakkie to take fuel to farm and spectators can also follow.
NO one will be allowed to start on farm due to event insurance and the fact that we do lunch after ride at the Napier wine festival with price giving at 14h00.

LIMITED LATE ENTRIES will be available at registration – CARD PAYMENTS ONLY
START TIMES:
NB: Riders need to be ready and at the venue 30min BEFORE start time for safety briefing.
Riders must bring the following:
- Water bottles or hydration backpacks. Water filling stations will be provided on route.
- Own additional nutrition supplies.
- Medical Kit
- All riding safety gear as required.
- Bag drop area will NOT be available at this event.
- Parking will be available at the venue.
- Event photos will be loaded onto our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/thelegendrunner after the event.
- This is NOT an official timed event.
