The Herold Heritage Hike is a 12,5 km circular Hike at Oubaai Golf Estate. A good variety of cliffside and forest walking with some amazing views. Goes along the perimeter of Oubaai all the way to the whale deck, but one can easily exit the trail at various points. The Oubaai Heritage Trail offers more than 8 km of hiking trails through coastal flynbos within the resort where smells and textures bombard the senses. Walk through indigenous forests where the rich biodiversity is reflected by the chirp of tree frogs and a multitude of birds.

Difficulty is rated 6/10, you have to be reasonably fit and able to cover both the distance as well as the unstable terrain. Lots of stairs to be climbed back up, to the parking area. We'll meet at Elvis Brew Farm Stall for something to drink/eat, after the hike (optional).

? Your own emergency items, such as bandage, small petroleum jelly, blister plasters, etc
