Join us for Peak #2: Losberg - with 6,86km out&back, and approx 538m elevation, you'd need to be reasonably fit - this is a 3,5-4 hour outing.
What to expect: Beautiful views, lots of fresh air, new friendships and great conversations between fellow hikers. And you would have conquered the second peak of the pack and collect your token!
? Compulsary items: Suitable lightweight hydration-/backpack, sunscreen, hat, comfortable shoes, something to eat, enough water. Lightweight windproof jacket/fleece, beanie and gloves depending the weather. (We will aim to postpone the hike in the case of rain, but a waterproof jacket might be a handy kit item). Best to always dress in layers. Space blanket, emergency energy bar/trail food, bandage and a small petroleum jelly comes in handy for chafing etc.
✨ Optional items:
Fingerless gloves, hiking poles, buffs, coffee.
♡ Meet at Sputnik (6am-6h15) up Outeniqua pass, on the right.
♡ Hike starts strictly at 6h30.
♡ Enjoy a light picnic lunch with us after the hike (optional).
The peak challenge hikes are strictly donation based.
