No late entries on Friday at registration and also no late entries on race day.
The SPAR Tzaneen Tuffy 4-in1 Marathon is a category 5 marathon and is an official Comrades Qualifier. Along the circular route, you will find breathtaking views.

Important Information:
- Entries: Online entries will close on 06 March 2024. The first 1200 entries will receive a free moisture management T-shirt (subject to size availability).
- Late Entries: Late Entries on the 8th and 9th of March 2024 will take place at the collection points at an additional fee of R50 per entry. ENTRY LIMIT REACHED, NO LATE ENTRIES
- Substitutions and Downgrades: Can be done up until the 8th of March 2024.
- Manual entries: If assistance is needed to do online entries, you can go to Tzaneen Superspar (ONLY) to enter.
- Take a copy of your ID and the entry fee.
- Ask for Solly to assist you to complete the entry form.
Number collection:
- Number collections will take place on Friday 8 March 2024 between - @ Aida Properties (38 Boundary Street, Tzaneen)
- And then on Saturday 9 March 2024 at the venue from 05:00h onwards.
- An ASA License is required for this event (except for the 5km Fun Run) if you do not have an annual license. ASA Temp license can be purchased @ R50.00

- Physio treatment (starting from R50 for 10 min) (Unfortunately no cash payments)
Route Descriptions:
5km:
The 5km is a fairly undulating route that turns around before the serious Agatha hills start.
10km:
The 10km is a challenging route with the turn about 2.5km down the famous Agatha hill.
21.1km:
The 21.1km is a very tough route that goes all the way down the Agatha hill and then up again to the finish.
42.2km:
The 42.2km is a category 5 marathon. On the circular route, there are breathtaking views that assists runners through the tough course.
Cut-off times for the 42.2km:
- 5 Hours at 32km.
- 6 Hours at finish.
Race Rules & Regulations
- I participate at my own risk and indemnify the organisers, sponsors, officials of the race, LIMA and ASA against any claims, liability, loss, expenses or injuries I may suffer whilst participating in the event.
- I shall abide by all LIMA and ASA rules, obey all race marshals and traffic officials.
- Proof of age (ID) to be produced upon request on race day.
- No iPod/sound equipment or pets will be allowed on route or at the venue.
- The referee’s decision is final.
- Entries cannot be refunded, cancelled, returned or exchanged on account of weather or unforeseen events that occur beyond the control of the event organisers.
- Age category tags must be worn front and back, visible and fixed at all four corners by athletes competing for age category prizes.
- Minimum age to participate: 9 years - 5km, 16 years -10km & 21,1km, 20 years - 42.2km.
- Cut off times for 42.2km: 5 hours at 32km & 6 hours at finish.
