Welcome to the 2024 edition of the most popular and prestigious mountain bike race in Gauteng - The Cradle Mountain Trophy, and now it’s a Gravel Event for the cyclists.
Founded in 2010, this mountain biking event always promises to be an exhilarating experience, and it takes place on Saturday the 26th of October 2024.
You may have noticed that we have changed the format slightly, and now we are offering a 1-Day version.
And this year, we are changing things up a bit and all routes will now be Gravel Routes.
95km, 55km and 38km will be on offer
This is without a doubt the most popular, engaging and spectacular and fun event in and around Gauteng.
Plus, we also have a stunning offering of various Trail Running/ Walking options from 5km, 10km & 16km. This will take place on Saturday the 26th of October.
Special Announcement: All children aged 7 and under can enter on the day at no cost for the 5km
We are back at The Valley Lodge & Spa, situated in the heart of Magaliesburg.

Wednesday the 23rd of October from 12.30 to 17.00 – Venue: JoziGin, Bryanston, cnr Post House & Main
Alternatively, if you can’t make it on Wednesday, Saturday the 26th at Valley Lodge from 06.00 to 06.30.

THE ROUTE AND MARKINGS
PLEASE NOTE: The 95km & 55km will be GPS marking only
The Gravel/ MTB routes will be clearly marked with Green Arrows on a white A4 Perspex board, and the route will also have pink stickers showing you the way.
Trail Runners will follow GREEN STICKERS
