EVENT CANCELLED!!!

The Darling 12hour MTB Challenge is about how far you can ride in 12 hours. The marked route is 10km long, made up of easy jeep and single track with an elevation of 200meters.  The route is well marked in a scenic landscape on Wolwefontein Farm at Living Colour just outside Darling on the West Coast. 

What makes Darling 12hour MTB Challenge interesting is you set the overall wining distance in the 12-hour period.

 Race Brief 

* All riders must be registered with official number and armband to be eligible to participate

*06h45 on start line for race brief    

*Race starts at 07h00 am sharp

*Ride will start with the sound of a bell

*Ride as many laps as you can within 12 hours 

*Riders lapse will be counted at the start / finish line.

*Riders not back by 19h00 over the finish line will be automatically eliminated from results( bell will ring to announce the end)

*A rider may opt out with their number being handed in with Race Official at any time. 

*Leaderboard will be at start / finish

Camping is R300 with an official booking for 4 people.

Online entries close on the 25^{th of} September at midnight.

Late entries are available on the day for R450 between 5h30 and 6h30 @living Colour

REGISTRATION - BRIEFING - START

Registration will take place on the Friday from 16h00 till 20h00 @Living Colour

and Saturday morning 05h30 till 06h30

Riders with paid entries may set up their tents in the designated camping area on Friday.

LC has shower facilities and toilets.

 LC has a full Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Menu, and a fully licensed bar. Only restaurant food and drinks to be consumed in the restaurant area. 

Restaurant Open at 6am till 9pm

West Coast Smoke House open from 11am till 8pm

WATER POINTS AND SNACKS

There will be no waterpoint on the route. Participants should carry sufficient hydration / energy for each lap.

There will be hydration / water / light snacks at the finish / start point.

HOW DOES IT WORK

How many 10km laps can you ride in 12 hours. You dictate, we count, you set the benchmark.

Supporters are allowed and encouraged to attend the event and provide all mental and nutritional support, however no support is permitted along the route.
