HIKE THE VINES SOCIAL HIKE @ Paarl Mountain

We are hiking on Paarl Mountain for the 9th - Windmeul Kelder edition, starting from the Meulwater picnic area and Botanical garden. This will undoubtedly be a memorable experience if you haven't hiked in Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve before.

The route on Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve will start from the Meulwater Botanical Gardens and takes hikers around Nantes Dam to the Chrismas Camp Picnic site where we will enjoy our halfway stop and customary wine tasting - remember your hiking cup.

Please order your Windmeul wine when you book your place on the hike.

The HTV Social hikes are suitable for all ages, are family-friendly and require only moderate fitness and high enthusiasm. All hikers must be self-supported for the 3 hour hike of 8km. Please remember your cup/glass and snacks.

What to bring

• Hydration and snacks for the walk.
• Hiking shoes and appropriate apparel to hike with.
• Wine/hiking cup
• It's still on the cusp of winter so watch the weather and come prepared.
