The Apple Pie Adventure Race keeps it interesting with a little bit of orienteering, running/hiking, cycling and swimming/paddling. This race is designed for fun and adventure so it is aimed at the whole family, beginners and pros alike. 

Our hosts are the amazing Elgin Grabouw Country Club, Peregrine Farmstall and Trail's End. Book your pre- and post-event accommodation at Trail's End Bike Hotel and show them your proof of entry to qualify for discount. Peregrine Farmstall will provide...apple pies to all finishers!

The Elgin Grabouw Country Club boasts breathtaking and spectacular views of the surrounding Hottentots Holland, Nuweberg and Groenland mountains. The drive from Cape Town or Worcester takes approximately 60 minutes whilst the trip from Somerset West, Gordon’s Bay and Hermanus will take approximately 35 minutes.

Prize giving and podium presentation will take place once all categories have finished.

Please note, you have to be at prize giving to collect your podium prize or lucky draw prize. If you are not at prize giving you forfeit your prize.

The event will be timed using timing chips. It is the responsibility of each athlete to tag properly.
