On Friday evening the 7th of March we will host a Sunset Hike at Delvera in association with M'Lana Restaurant @ Delvera Farm near Klapmuts.

Participants can choose 7km hike to the top of Klapmustkop to enjoy the spectacular sunset over Table Mountain. The trail will have a section on the gravel road through the vineyards before heading into some amazing single track on Klapmutskop.  At the top the most amazing views of the sunset will await you. After enjoying the views you will make your way downhill back towards the start/finish area through some single track and then some easy Jeeptrack to take you back home.

After your hike you can join us at the M'Lana Restaurant on the farm where we will have cold beer, wines and a full bar facility available. We will also sell boerewors rolls at the restaurant. No other food will be available.

You can also buy wine, beer or other refreshments at the restaurant for your hike.

Also note that R20 of your entry fee will be donated to the Greater Simonsberg Conservancy: The Greater Simonsberg Conservancy is a Non Profit and Public Benefit Organisation, with the aim to support its private landowners around the base of the Simonsberg Mountain, Klapmutskop and the Banhoek Valley, in their conservation efforts, as well as providing environmental education and conservation awareness services in the surrounding communities.

R120 - Includes R20 permit fee.

Important to know:

• Headlamp for the hike if you think that you will only finish after dark.
• Water or some sort of hydration is a good idea.
• Run/Walk with proper shoes. The Run/Hike is technical especially on the single track sections on Klapmutskop with about 340m of elevation on the hike.
