Sunset Fun Hike
Gravel & Grit is excited to be able to do this fun event again in 2025, we had so many people joining us in 2024!
Participants will have the pleasure of hiking through private farms which are normally closed to the public. We will go up to the Talana Hills which promises breathtaking sunset views over the Langeberg mountains and surrounding valleys. It is a great fun event for the whole family.
Afterwards we’ll have a lekker jol at Glen Eden with music, drinks & something to eat
Come join in the fun, kicking the weekend off with a sunset walk hosted by Patti & Mitzi
Distance: 5.2 km
Cost: R150 includes your entry, vetkoek and drink
R50 for kids excluding burger & drink
R75 for adults excluding burger & drink
Registration & Late entries: 3 pm to 6 pm
Start time: 6:30 pm
Bring headlights & comfortable walking shoes
All ages are welcome!

| Route information | Glen Eden Farm is a small holding of 50 hectares situated on famous Route 62, just 14 km from the charming town of Montagu. With 5 luxury cottages, 3 unique glamping options and a small upmarket camping site we have something to offer everyone. All properties have their own wood fired hot tub, cottages also have a splash pool, each property has free, unlimited WIFI, even the camping site! We have an archery range, Archers of Eden available plus kayaking, a touch farm, hiking, and fishing. Beaney Peanut is our licensed kiosk bar and serves Bootlegger coffee and gourmet pizzas. |
