Challenge entrants will receive their event item during registration at the venue on race weekend.

SINGLE DAY ENTRY OPTIONS:  

Saturday: 5km (R200), 10km (R240), 15km (R280) or 21km (R300)

Sunday: 5km (R200), 10km (R240) or 15km (R280)

Kids under 13yrs and adults over 60yrs: 5km (R150), 10km (R190), 15km (R230) or 21km (R250)

Earn Discovery Vitality points as well for each day’s distance completed.

VENUE FEES NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:

Please note that if you do not stay at the venue, and additional fee of R40 for kids under 13yrs and R80 for adults will have to paid at the venue.

Please note that spectators will also have to pay the venue entrance fee.

Venue entrance fee gives you access to the venue and all the facilities the venue has available.

CHECK-OUT TIMES:

The race cut-off time on Sunday is 10h00.  For those staying at the venue, a late check-out can be arranged with venue.  If you want to check out later, please make sure to arrange this with the venue when you make your accommodation booking.

**** IMPORTANT PET FRIENDLY ARRANGEMENTS AND RULES ****

Please note this venue is not a pet friendly venue in general.  

It is a special arrangement that was made FOR THIS WEEKEND ONLY to allow our trail runners/walkers to come and enjoy this beautiful landscape with their four-legged friends as well.  

Very strict rules will be applied during the weekend, as all dogs will have to be kept on leash at all time due to all the wild life roaming around at the venue.  

There are also Baboons roaming free at the venue and therefore necessitates the on-leash requirement for all dogs.

Non-adherence to this rule will be subjected to a R1 000 fine and you might be requested to leave the establishment without any refunds.

PET FRIENDLY RULES: 

• Dogs are welcome on all distances.  
• Please note that it is STRICTLY ON LEASH, due to all the wildlife and baboons roaming free at the Resort.
• Only dogs taking part in the trail run may be brought to the venue.
• There won't be people available to look after your dog while you are out on the trails.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

• The weekend will be filled with lots of trail running options, food, drinks, activities at the venue to keep everyone entertained. 
• There are a lot of activities available at the venue to keep you entertained.
• The venue also have a Spa available - so make sure to book your massage or treatment well in advance to avoid disappointment.
• On Saturday evening, the tea garden restaurant will be open until 19h30.  The bar will remain open until 21h30.
• Online entries for the 2-day trail run, up until 15 May 2025,  will receive a Revolution Trails Event Item. 
• Online entries close on 2 June 2025.
• Stage Run and Single day entries will still be available at the venue on Friday night during registration as well as on Saturday and Sunday mornings during registration.
• All entrants will receive a specifically designed medal at the end of the two days.
• The top 3 overall male and female finishers for each of the 4 challenges will also receive a special medal during the awards ceremony on Sunday morning at 09h00.
• These 3 finishers will be determined based on the results of the 1st and 2nd day times. 
• If you are in the running for the top 3 placements for your challenge, please make sure your timing card is scanned in when you finish each day's run and confirm your times.  Once the top 3 winners for each challenge is announced, no changes will be made to the results.
• Single day entrants do not qualify for winner medals.
• Online Race entry fees does not include the venue entrance fees. If you do not stay at the venue for this event, you will have to pay the venue entrance as well to the venue
• Spectators not staying at the venue will also have to pay the venue entrance fee if they come with you to the race.

ACCOMMODATION:

Entry fee does not include accommodation.  To book your accommodation at the De Voetpadkloof Resort, we recommend securing your accommodation for the weekend at De Voetpadkloof Resort as soon as possible, before they are fully booked.  There will be a lot of accommodation available at the venue, such as 10 Log Cabins, 10 Chalets, 17 Safari Tents and 60+ campsites! Various other accommodation options are available in around the race venue if you are not able to secure your accommodation at De Voetpadkloof Resort directly.  Please make sure to indicate you are booking for the stage run weekend, as the entire venue has been reserved for race participants.

WEEKEND SCHEDULE AND TIMES:

Friday - 5 June 2026:

• Registration opens at 16h00 till 20h00 for collection of timing cards and race item (where applicable).
• The bar will be open for food and drinks at your own cost until 18h00.

Saturday - 6 June 2026:

• Late registration and on-the-day entries will be open between 06h30 till 07h00
• Race briefing will be held at 06h55
• The 21km entrants will start at 07h00
• The 15km entrants will start at 07h05
• The 10km entrants will start at 07h10
• The 5km entrants will start at 07h15
• Food and drinks will be available at the venue for the whole day.

Sunday - 7 June 2026:

• On-the-day entries and upgrades/downgrades will be open between 06h30 till 07h00
• Race briefing will be held at 06h55
• The 15km entrants will start at 07h00
• The 10km entrants will start at 07h05
• The 5km entrants will start at 07h10
• Medal awarding ceremony for the top 3 finishers on the stage run challenges will take place at 09h00.
• If you believe to be in the running for the top 3 of your challenge, please make sure your timing card is scanned in as you finished, and confirm your time captured. We cannot change results after the awards have been presented.
• All other participants will receive their medals as they finishers.
• Check-out and departure from 10h00.
