Experience the untamed beauty of the Tomjachu Nature Reserve, a private Lowveld gem where granite hills, wild fig trees, and roaming giraffes set the scene for an unforgettable trail adventure. Run along sections of an old wagon path, weave through lush bushveld, and descend into the breathtaking Tomjachu Gorge — a route that captures the true soul of the Lowveld.

Distances & Start Times:

• 20 km – R450 (Start: 05:30)

• 12 km – R300 (Start: 06:00)

• 6 km – R150 (Start: 06:15)

Entries include well-stocked aid stations, a marked route, and a conservation fee supporting the reserve’s wildlife and habitat preservation. Expect technical climbs, flowy gravel roads, and the rewarding ascent of Zebra Heights, with panoramic views across the valley.
