Koumashoek Circuit is located in the Ruitersbos Nature Reserve In the Robinson Pass area. The natural beauty of unspoilt indigenous Fynbos and mountainous vistas, make the trail worth every step!

We'll pause a while for refreshments and views over the Klein Karoo at Breakfast Rock and then move further in an anti-clockwise direction before turning around  back to the starting point.

Compulsary items: Suitable lightweight hydration-/backpack, sunscreen, hat, proper trail shoes with sufficient grip, something to eat, enough water. Lightweight windproof jacket/fleece, buff, beanie and gloves depending the weather. Always dress in layers.

Emergency kit: Space blanket, whistle emergency energy bar/trail food, stretch bandage in case of a strained ankle and many other uses and a small petroleum jelly for eyes/lips/chafing etc.

✨ Optional items:

Fingerless gloves for grip, hiking poles, coffee, wet wipes.

♡ Hike starts around 7h00.
