Join us for a hike to the cross at the foot of the Outeniqua mountains, an adventure for the whole family!

Pack your headlamp or torch and a picnic, why not enjoy your supper at the cross?! There will also be a chocolate muffin for everyone. 

With a 8km loop route, and approx 372m total elevation, this hike is rated 4/10 and you need to be reasonably fit&strong - this is a 3-4 hour outing.

???‍♀️??? List of compulsary items required for all our hikes: 

? Suitable lightweight hydration-/backpack/hip pouch 

? Hydration/bottled water

? Sunscreen

? Hat/head gear

? Suitable non-slip shoes (Off road shoes. Normal sneakers/road running shoes are NOT suitable) 

? Snacks

? Lightweight windproof jacket

? Fleece/midlayer depending the weather

? Your own emergency items, such as bandage, small petroleum jelly, blister plasters, etc

✨ Optional items:

Fingerless gloves, hiking poles, beanie, buffs, sunglasses.
