From Strength to Strength: Otto1890 Weekend Warrior 2026 Levels Up

The Otto1890 Weekend Warrior series is growing from strength to strength, and 2026 is set to be a defining year. We are thrilled to announce two major events for the Winelands: the return of the Grabouw original Otto1890 Weekend Warrior, followed by our second annual trip to Stellenbosch on 10 & 11 October 2026.

First Up: Otto1890 Weekend Warrior Grabouw Join us for breathtaking trails through the iconic Oak Valley vineyards, Tru-Cape apple orchards, and along the Eikenhoff Dam. This year, we aren't just riding the trails; we are building them.

New for 2026:

The Red Cherry Events Connection Trail: We are proud to unveil a brand-new piece of singletrack! This crucial bridge connects Fruitways to Oak Valley, ensuring a seamless passage for riders for years to come.

Upgraded Village Experience: We’ve taken the race village to the next level with improved rider hospitality and a completely revamped kiddies area to keep the future warriors entertained.

The Heart of the Event: Organized by Red Cherry Events, this day serves as a vital fundraiser for Hoërskool Grabouw. Your entry supports the building of a new classroom for Grade 4 students.

The Details: Choose your challenge—10 km, 28 km, or 44 km—and experience a race that is bigger, better, and more comfortable than ever before.
