It is an annual tradition for us to kick off the new year with a run at Jordan Wine Estate, and we are excited to return in January 2026 to this incredible venue. This is not only a run, but also a celebration of the new harvest season, with the estate buzzing with activity.

Participants can choose between a 5 km and 10 km route, heading up the Bottelary Hills as the moon rises over the mountains. We will be finishing in the dark, so please bring a light or headlamp (compulsory). For the 10 km route, remember to bring your own cup or soft flask. #ICarryMyOwn

The Cellar Door at Jordan will be serving their famous flammkuchen, so stay for a meal, enjoy a glass of wine, and soak up the vibe as the  moon rises over the landscape. (this year's race is a week after full moon, to accommodate all who went away during the holidays).

Starting Times and Entry Fees:

10km – 19:00 – R220 (R270 for late entries) 

5km – 19:10 – R170 (R220 for late entries)

Registration and late entries (if available):

17: 30 – 18:45 at the venue on the day of the event

Please note that our event is almost always sold out prior to the race, so enter now, to avoid disappointment

General:

•    One water point is available on the long course - please carry your own cup or soft flask 

•    Headlights or a torch is compulsory.

•    Please SHARE A RIDE with a friend, to reduce traffic to the venue
