Leeukloof is a quiet, secluded valley in the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains. It’s a great destination for birding, hiking, fynbos watching, mountain biking (MTB), off-road motor cycling, motor bike touring and swimming.

We meet at the Leeukoof Lapa, a rustic weddings and functions venue.

On this 10km circular route, we are excited to be able to pass through this valley on foot to be able to take in all the beauty of the surrounds. We will also be crossing the Bosmans River which is clean and pure.

? Sunscreen

? Hat/head gear

? Suitable non-slip shoes

? Snacks

? Lightweight windproof jacket

? Fleece/midlayer depending the weather

? Your own emergency items, such as bandage, small petroleum jelly, blister plasters, etc

Fingerless gloves, hiking poles, beanie, buffs, sunglasses.

Meet at the parking area just past the lapa, around 7h45.

♡ Hike starts strictly at 8h00.
