The Yellow Epilepsy Charity Half Marathon is an annual event hosted by the Eswatini Epilepsy Organization (EEO), a non-profit organization based in Eswatini. This upcoming event will be the 10th edition in the series. The event continues to grow each year, seeing the participation of more and more individuals. The Yellow Epilepsy Charity Half Marathon has the aim of raising awareness of the epilepsy condition as a means to curb the stigma and discrimination often experienced by those living with the epilepsy condition. The event is also a means for EEO raise funds to execute its various projects and initiatives which, in addition to awareness & advocacy, fall under the programmatic themes of health support, social welfare & community development, and research.

Details

-The event has 3 race categories ONLY: 5 km (E140), 10 km (E170), 21 km (E200)

-The event is open to all, amateur and athlete, male and female, of all ages

-All races will begin at 6:00 am at the Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (EOCGA) Head Office in Lobamba, Eswatini

-Water points will be available along the routes of all three races

-Athletes can be awarded prize monies under each of the 3 race categories provided they follow all the rules as stipulated by Athletics Eswatini
