Hartbeeskuil Dam Circuit

🌿 The Adventure

Join us for a beautiful 18 km anti-clockwise circuit around Hartbeeskuil Dam, near Hartenbos.

With approximately 249 m total elevation gain and an expected hiking time of 4–4½ hours, this is a scenic day out combining open farm landscapes, dam views and the natural beauty of the area.

We’ll park our vehicles safely along a farm road. A pin drop for the exact parking location will be shared in the communication group before the hike.

Keep your eyes open along the way — beautiful scenery and plenty of wildlife can be expected, including buck, sheep and cattle, as well as aloe in bloom depending on the season.

And, of course, the star of the show is Hartbeeskuil Dam itself, a popular freshwater fishing spot where many anglers come to try their luck. 🎣
