Turke history & what we do
The Turke Club was established in 1989 by ex sports-men, who resolved to sow back all the years of pleasure that participation in sporting activities had given them. Thus, the Turke Club was created. Our main aim is raising support and awareness for disabled sport. We do this by participating in disabled sporting events as "able bodied" guests, raising funds and simply spending time with the disabled sports men and women.
Donations exceed R 740 000 during the past 23 years and we regularly participate in several activities involving disabled sports.

Distance: 12 or 33km of epic mountain biking trails
When: 28 September 2016, Wednesday
Where: Rosemary Hill or check on Google Maps
Time: 4pm onwards (Night Ride), Race will start at about 7pm
Entry Fee: R190 (33km) & R160 (12km)
Entries closes: Monday, 26 September 2016 for EFT's(Please provide POP) & Tuesday, 27 September 2016 for online payments.
Entries limited for this great event.
Your entry fee will include the following:
- Boerie roll
- A beer, cider or cooldrink
- First 50 entries will receive a goodie bag
- Donation towards the Turke charity for disabled sports-men & women
- Chance to win awesome spot prizes sponsored by Navworld worth R10,000
- Access to Rosemary hill for a great ride & lots of fun
- Race timing
Entry Procedure
Anyone can contribute towards the event in the following 3 ways.
- Enter for the MTB event and get a chance to ride your MTB and contribute towards the Turke
- Make a donation towards to Turke without riding your bike
- Assisting us with the event by contributing your time in eg marshalling, timing, admin etc

| Route information | If you are looking to find us you can travel on the N4 east towards Emalahleni (previously Witbank), pass the Solomon Mahlangu offramp (Previously Hans Strydom), then take the next offramp which is Boschkop/ Donkerhoek (exit 18). There is a toll gate where you pay R11.00. Turn right and continue over the highway for 2 km (dirt road, R964) Rosemary Hill is situated on the right. We are 8 minutes from Silver Lakes, 20 minutes from Menlyn and 20 minutes from Hatfield. |
