So what are you waiting for? Tickets are limited so get yours today for only R450 before they're all gone. As the markets get tough we decided to keep the fees same as last year.

Party Animal: Want to be part of the festivities but don't want to ride in the race. Select the "Party Animal" option on the Entry page for R350 and get everything the racers get except the race.

Race details

• Race date is  some time on Saturday 29 October 2016 at Kaia Manzi just outside Bronkhorstspruit.  Registration and briefing will be at Kaia Manzi the morning of the race.

• Provide your own number boards and number in any form and format, paper, plastic, precious metals and even kangaroos, Uggs, koalas, wombats or didgeridoo. The race route will be supplied by a local grey-haired wizard and will guarantee kilometers of mind-bending orgasmic famed Kungwini single track. Prepare yourself for around 30km give or take, which may or may not include beverage stations of some form or other.

• It is a single speed event but we will tape gears up of normal bikes, so all bikes welcome.

• Depending on the number of entries received, the organisers may be convinced to send someone to SSWC2016 to get drunk with Bogan's on some Australian single track at the Carni-velo.

Other bits…

• As it will still be chilly next to the dam, come prepared with warm woollies. The days will be pleasant but the nights can get cold enough to freeze the medals off a brass monkey. Bring a chair too.  It will stop you from falling over.

• Some food should be on sale but bring some of your own.  Importantly, the Pub will be fully stocked.
