Bambatha Events
On the 15th and 16th August Bambatha Events will be hosting their inaugural Meatmasters Mountain Challenge at the Bloemveld dam in Vryheid. An easy 3hr drive from Durban and 4 1/2hrs from Johannesburg.
For the first year we are restricting the entries to 100 teams for the 2-day stage event, so make sure you get your entry in early to avoid disappointment.
The Meatmasters Mountain Challenge is set in an area rich in South African History. As mentioned you will pass nearby many Battlefields including the Battle of Kambula and Hlobane (Zulu War 1879), and Lancaster Hill and Holkrans (Anglo Boer War 1901). The route has been designed to include lovely, flowing, pine forest single track, district road, grasslands, plantations and dams with breathtaking views.
Meatmasters Mountain Challenge 2day stage event 90km and 70km of beautiful mountain bike tracks, plantation single tracks, bush trails, beautiful views. Join us for our action-packed off road adventure in the 2 day stage event. We also have something for the family on Saturday 15 August, 21km and 10km MTB trails and 21km, 10km and 5km Trail run/walks
