Vaal Privé MTB Challenge - Deneysville
VERY IMPORTANT- ALL RIDERS THAT ENTER THE RACE GETS 15% DISCOUNT ON ACCOMMODATION AT 3STAR VAAL PRIVÉ. All is welcome @ Vaal Privé not just riders but space is limited and can only sleep 120 people MAX. If entrants were to late there is plenty accommodation in Deneysville.
10km - a awesome route through the small town of Deneysville with scenic views of the Vaal Dam and Deneysvilles Castle. After passing through fun single tracks in Deneysville well be passing through Deneysville's very first school that was used when the Dam was built. Then cruising through the rest of our small town back home for some snacks and coffee.
40km - starting with a awesome tar road stretch through Deneysville well be entering the small holdings just outside Deneysville passing through some single track on our way to the legendary Veekraal we you will be introduced to barnies hill and at the top enjoy our water point! Short after well be heading to the famous Vaal Dam wall built in 1938 were well experience a awesome closeup view. Then enjoy some single-track an waterfront views were afterwards well pass through Deneysvilles first school which was used when the dam was built. Then take it home to some coffee and snacks.
60km - mostly you'll make use of the same trail as the 40km riders where you will be separated at the horse farm and enter the super circle around a waterfront neighborhood with a awesome waterfront view (keep left here as you'll pe passing your mates on your way out!) then take it back home past the castle and through some lovely sand to enjoy some snacks and coffee.

Route options & Entry Fees
- 60km MTB Race – R180 - Start Time 7:45
- 40km MTB Race – R140 - Start Time 8:00
- 10km MTB Race – R120 - Start Time 8:15
Times:Premises will open at 6h00 , 60km will start at 7h45 SHARP and the 40km 15 minutes thereafter
- Snacks, food, and drinks will be sold at the event. There is a "Coffee chill zone" done by OCD coffee shop

- Online Entries: Friday, 2 June 2017 at midnight
- Late/Line Entries & Registrations will take place at the venue on Saturday morning between 6:00 and 7:30. (Cash & SnapScan Only)
Entries limited to 400 riders for this event(On all distances combined). We can easily accommodate this amount of riders in terms of parking and the route without having bottlenecks and by the use of proper seeding. We would like to keep it at a maximum of 400 riders to make it enjoyable for everyone.
Timing: Timing will be done by BoutTime. Real-Time electronic result boards will be at the finish for each distance indicating the top 10 men, women and latest finishers with their overall and gender positions, pace and finishing time. Riders will receive a SMS with their individual results directly after they've finished and the results will be uploaded to the website(www.bouttime.co.za) as the riders comes in. No more waiting days for your results to reflect.
