2019 REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN
The Ability 10KM Charity Walk/Run is a non profit event that seeks to raise funds for learners with various Special Needs (Disabilities), to provide them with entrepreneurship and life skills development programs whilst they are still in high school. The Ability 10km Charity Walk/Run will be an annual charity Walk/Run that promotes different abilities to get together whilst promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
The Ability 10KM is ideal for young and old, joggers, runners, walkers, wheelchair users, babies in Parms and crutches are most welcome. The Walk/Run is also open for participants from 9 years and abilities with several categories prizes to be won.

GENERAL INFORMATION
• Pre-registration closes 24 September 2018, participants onsite registration will be cash only. There may be limited T-shirts and Temporal Chip Timers, Pre-registration is encouraged.
• Late entries (on the day) will be charged R 100 extra.
• A free shuttle bus/taxi services will be provided to participants using public transportation (pick up from Durban City Hall). There are also plenty of free parking spaces surrounding Moses Mabhida Staduim.
• Babies in prams will get a free entry, NO registration required.
• Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• No refunds will be made as this is non profit event and also due to rain and lightning cancellation.
• Walking will be allowed at all distances and there will be NO cut-off time.
• No pets and animals will be allowed at the event.
• Minimum age for 2km distance is 9 years.
• Minimum age for 5km distance is 12 years.
• Minimum age for 10km distance is 14 years.
