Centuries ago a desire to explore exotic products and tastes would have meant waiting for the seasonal return of the traders waging the Spice Route. Today explorers of the finer things in life can set off on a journey of discovery simply by visiting the aptly named Spice Route Destination in Paarl.
An experience unique to the wine and hospitality industry, Spice Route Destination is a collaboration of artisans that showcase their produce and share their specialised knowledge, both with the public and with each other. The result is a diverse and extensive offering infused with a passion for authenticity and craftsmanship.
Runners will also run on the newly build trails that is built, maintained and managed by Hero Adventures. They were kind enough to give us a discounted rate to use the trails and therefore a R20 increase in the entry fee.
