**Late race number collections at start of 42.km and 15km
** Kindly use the bus for the start of the 15km as there is no parking at the start of the 15km.
** Tog bag facilities available. Bags can be handed in at the start and collected at the finish. This facility is available to be used at own risk.
** Proceeds go to support local Rotary community projects
** Water points will be provided on the route at intervals of 2 to 4 km
** Toilets are available at the start / finish and at designated points on the route.
** Food and refreshments will be available for purchase at the finish.
** In addition to entering online, all competitors for 42.2km and 15km must register for the event.

** Bus transfers for prepaid competitors only from Tzaneen Showgrounds to the Start before the race as well as from Tzaneen Showgrounds to Haenertsburg after the event
WITHDRAWAL/CANCELLATION/ALTERATION; The race entry fee is non-refundable. If a competitor withdraws from the event, the event is cancelled or advertised details are changed for any reason, competitors will not be entitled to a refund of any amount paid.
- ASA RULES: To avoid disqualification, obey all Traffic Officers/ officials and Race Marshalls. The race will be run according to the rules of AMPU, ASA and the IAAF. No seconding will be allowed.
- LISTENING DEVICES: For safety reasons, as per ASA rule, participants ARE NOT ALLOWED to use earphones, iPods, MP3
- NUMBER COLLECTION: You must collect your two(2) Magoeba Plunge race numbers, from the venue you have indicated on your entry form. These items will not be posted to you. It is important to note the following when collecting your race number package:
- All runners MUST provide proof of identity to collect their race number pack e.g. ID book/card, Passport or Driver’s License along with your race entry confirmation.
- If you are unable to collect your race number package, a third party can collect this on your behalf providing they have a printed copy of Acknowledgement of Entry, letter of authorization from the entrant and a certified copy of your ID and the entrants ID. The person collecting the race number package must have identification.
- Runners may not claim their registration package after registration closes. These items will not be posted to you and no refunds will be processed.
- In addition to entering online, all competitors for 42.2km and 15km must register for the event.

- TIME LIMITS & CUT OFFS: The race is run from “gun to gun”. The cut-off times for these points will be confirmed in the final race instructions. Runners will be required to board a bailer bus and be transported to the finish venue should they not have reached the cut-off points within the specified time.
- The cut-off points will be clearly sign posted.
- PRIZE MONEY: All winners of prize money must provide an original or certified copy of ID, birth certificate or passport as well as proof of banking details on race day.
No prize money will be paid on race day. - FINAL RACE INSTRUCTIONS: Your Final Race Instructions form part of the rules of the race and will be included with your race pack. All rules included in the Final Race Instructions supersede the Entry Form rules.
- AGES: Athletes for 5 km must be 9 years or older on the day of the race. Athletes for 15km must be 16 years or older on the day of the race. Athletes for 42.2km must be 20 years or older on the day of the race.
- Proof of age (ID) to be produced upon request on day of race. All athletes will participate at their own risk. Registered athletes must wear full club colours, 2019 licence numbers on the front and back of the vest. Temporary licence at the front on the vest. Remember to complete the Temporary licence tear off slip immediately and hand it back to the organizer.
- The race referee's decision is final. Walkers may participate with no additional time allowed. Run clean - any athlete accused of irresponsible disposing of litter other than into/at provided refuse bins, may be subject to disciplinary action, and if found to be in contravention of any race rules will be disqualified and subject to future bans.
- Age category ID tags must be worn (back and front) by athletes competing for a category prize AND licences and race numbers must be fixed on the vest (all 4 corners).
- All athletes must adhere to the TUE (Therapeutic Use Exemption) Rules and Regulations as per SAIDS. “Athletes, entering for this event, and who use medication to treat an illness or condition which falls under the Prohibited List, should complete a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) form before entering for the event and obtain authorization from SAIDS to take the needed medicine or method.”
